Alexandrea Sumuel Groves is a travel writer, digital publisher, and creator of Wander Worthy (formerly Wander With Alex). Her work has appeared on MSN, Yahoo!, euronews, and FOX, ABC, and NBC affiliates across the United States. 

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Business Management and Information Systems and Technology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She is currently the Director of Operations and previously the Director of Marketing of a personal injury law firm. A native of Virginia Beach, Alex moved to Smithfield, Virginia, with her husband to enjoy the small-town way of life.

Alex travels to experience, eat, explore, and occasionally escape! She created the Wander Worthy travel blog as a personal commitment to exploring and experiencing more of the world outside of her full-time career. Today, she works with destinations, vacation companies, and hospitality tech firms to provide her readers with exclusive insights and information.
